Start with your existing instructions

Have the medication name, strength and instructions you already follow ready. Enter the details carefully and keep different medications separate, even if you take them at the same time. The app records a schedule; it should not be used to decide a dose, change treatment or interpret unclear prescription instructions.

Check time and frequency

MedEphant’s published features include custom medication schedules and reminder notifications. Review the times, repeating pattern and start date you entered. Check AM and PM carefully if your phone uses a 12-hour clock. Look at the next scheduled reminders in the app to confirm they match the routine you intended.

Check notification delivery

Allow notifications for the app and review phone settings that may silence alerts, such as Focus or Do Not Disturb. Keep the medication schedule accessible even if an alert does not arrive. Notifications depend on device settings and software; a reminder is not a guarantee of delivery. Ask the app team for help with a reproducible alert issue.

A reminder app supports organisation. It does not prescribe treatment, determine doses or replace advice from your pharmacist or clinician.
